Their clown-like personality sets them apart from many breeds. It seems this misunderstood comedian is always wearing a smile and wants nothing more than to be with their family.  We cannot fault this wonderful breed for what man bred it to do. While they often times are animal aggressive this is one of the most loving dogs you can have in your family, especially with children. Despite their loving and forgiving nature with children, never leave any dog unattended around children. And, remember, it is YOUR responsibility as the adult to teach your kids how to act around animals.
